Andrea McKinnon

Associate

Andrea McKinnon is an associate in the Koskie Minsky Pension and Benefits Group whose practice is focussed on Bankruptcy and Restructuring. She works with other members of the firm to provide advice and representation to employees, retirees and pension funds affected by insolvency proceedings under both the CCAA and the BIA.

Andrea received a degree in Finance & Administration and a law degree from the University of Western Ontario. During law school, she worked for an academic in the area of insolvency law, and was a member of a research team which reviewed and made recommendations for amendments to federal bankruptcy and insolvency legislation.

Andrea contributes to the Legal & Legislative Reporter, a monthly pension and benefits newsletter published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
