Bernie Fishbein

Bernie Fishbein is a senior partner of Koskie Minsky LLP. He brings over 30 years of experience in labour relations.
Bernie's clientele is comprised of trade unions, professional groups and individuals in a wide range of sectors that include construction, entertainment, garment, electrical utility, security, education and manufacturing.
He has represented clients before labour and arbitration boards, administrative tribunals, the courts, and in collective bargaining. He has acted as general counsel providing advice to clients on how to avoid costly litigation.
A graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Harvard Law School, Bernie has taught employment and labour arbitration law at the University of Toronto and its law school. He frequently lectures and writes on all aspects of labour law for labour, professional and continuing education groups.
Bernie is a former member of the Ontario Grievance Settlement Board and former Chair of the Labour Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. He is currently a Co-Chair of the University of Toronto Academic Discipline Tribunal.
