David Rosenfeld
Associate
David Rosenfeld is an associate in Koskie Minsky's Litigation Group, practising primarily in the areas of employment and class actions. David is a member of the Class Action and Employment Law Groups at Koskie Minsky. David regularly appears before courts and tribunals at various levels throughout the province and has appeared in the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
David's practice is varied, as he advocates for individual employees and small to medium-sized employers in his employment practice and on behalf of large groups of class members in the class action context.
Some recent class action cases David has been involved in include: Dolmage v HMQ – an institutional abuse class action against the Province of Ontario on behalf of persons with disabilities, Anderson v Canada – a residential school abuse class action in Newfoundland against the Government of Canada, and Smith v Inco – an environmental class action on behalf of residents of Port Colborne.
David also acts as honorary legal counsel for Water For People Canada.
David completed his articles and worked as a summer student at Koskie Minsky before joining the Litigation Group as an associate.
