Larry Steinberg

Larry Steinberg joined the firm in 1983 after having been on the faculty of Dalhousie Law School for several years. He practises labour law and represents employees and trade unions before a number of tribunals, including Labour Relations Boards, Human Rights Tribunals, boards of arbitration and the Courts.
Larry's practice covers the entire spectrum of union side labour law with clients from the telecommunications industry, the public service, the construction industry, and a number of industrial workplaces.
Larry received his Masters Degree in Law from Harvard University and has authored several articles for academic journals. He has written and lectured on various aspects of labour and employment law for the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario, and at numerous seminars and conferences. During a three month sabbatical in 2003, Larry served pro bono as Special Counsel for Labour Relations to the Assembly of First Nations.
Larry was once again recognized in the 2009 editions of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada as one of the leading lawyers practising labour law for trade unions and their members.
