Michelle Landy-Shavim is a member of the Pension and Employee Benefits Group at Koskie Minsky.

Michelle completed her articles and worked as a summer student at Koskie Minsky before joining the Pension and Employee Benefits Group as an associate. She works with other members of the firm to provide advice and representation to employees, retirees and pension funds with regards to issues of pension trust, surplus and windup matters, administrative law and class proceedings affecting pension rights, plan governance and regulatory compliance.

Prior to working at the firm, Michelle received her Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. During her time at law school, Michelle worked at a poverty law legal clinic assisting women and clients with disabilities and held a number of research assistantships, focusing mainly on disability law.

Michelle contributes to the Legal & Legislative Reporter, a monthly pension and benefits newsletter published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
