Nancy represents both employers and employees in issues surrounding hiring, termination, discipline, disability, constructive dismissal, and management, including the preparation and negotiation of employment contracts and the preparation of employment manuals, policies and assistance with Bill 168 compliance. Nancy also actively represents clients with issues involving director and officer liability and errors and omissions, as well as shareholder issues in the context of employment relationships. Nancy is on the LawPro preferred counsel list and offers representation to lawyers in errors and omissions cases involving this subject matter.
Nancy’s clients commend her level of service. She provides superior practical risk management advice, is a strong negotiator and strategic litigator. Nancy assists both employers and employees in crisis situations and always provides timely counsel.
Nancy services clients in a wide variety of sectors including: accounting, administration, advertising, broadcasting and production, brokerage, collections, construction, dentistry, design, finance, insurance, legal, medical, manufacturing and sales, marketing, non-profit organizations, pension administration, pharmaceutical, public sector management, real estate development and property management, retail, technology, temporary-help agencies, transportation, web-based enterprise. She is also counsel to the Canadian Dental Protective Association (CDPA) providing employment law assistance to its members with respect to employment matters.
